TEETH WHITENING! What do you use to whiten your teeth???
See, I was never really into whitening my teeth as I grew up, I of course brushed my teeth every day, twice a day because that’s what the dentist told me, but I never thought “oh I should whiten my teeth with something…” Recently I have come to learn about so many different natural ways you can whiten your teeth. The one I am doing now is….
Activated Charcoal Teeth Whitening
So this is something that I have heard about for quite some time now, and I was always so doubtful that it could work. But then, I received some as a gift and I started to use it.
I was amazed.
Lately, I have been trying to shift into using more natural products when it comes to hygiene. I never really got into using the Crest whitening strips or other home whitening things. Until now, this charcoal tooth polish works wonders and has really whitened my teeth after only using it for a week! Charcoal teeth whitening is where it’s at! I totally recommend this charcoal teeth whitener for anyone who is tired of the whitening strips or expensive teeth whitening, or bleach.
The kind of activated charcoal that was gifted to me is by Olivia Care and only has 3 ingredients! Check out their site, they have a variety of different flavors for their tooth polishes, so one day I know I will try the others. But so far, so good. I am impressed and it has now become a part of my teeth brushing routine!
Why use Activated Charcoal for teeth whitening?
Activated Charcoal is known to have a low-volume of pores that increase the surface areas available for chemical absorption. The charcoal pores will bind to your teeth and around gums, really attaching the surface that has stains, which will then make it easier to remove any yellow color on your teeth.
The Benefits of Charcoal
- anti-bacterial
- anti-fungal
- fights against cavities
- fights against bad breath
- fights against gum disease
How do you use it?
Wet your toothbrush with a little bit of water and then gently dab it into the activated charcoal powder. Once you have a good amount on your toothbrush, start to lightly graze against teeth for about 2 minutes. If you have enough time, leave the charcoal paste on for 3 minutes while you change, get ready or do any chores. The longer you leave it on the whiter your teeth can be! Just be careful not to scrub hard with a toothbrush, as charcoal can damage your teeth if pressed to firmly.
I have really loved using charcoal teeth whitening. I hate when my teeth tend to look yellow and now this way they will slowly but surely start to whiten as I continue to use this tooth polish. I hope this gives anyone insight on charcoal teeth whitening. Let us know of other ways you like to whiten your teeth, we love to hear from you! – xoxo
